General Manager – Paraguay

About the role

We are looking for a General Manager to lead Bolt’s operations in Paraguay. The role is responsible for the overall performance, growth and long‑term success of the business, acting as the public face of the company in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the country strategy, annual business plan and market positioning.
• Own the full P&L, allocate capital to high‑ROI projects and enforce cost discipline.
• Lead driver (supply) initiatives – optimise earnings, improve experience and expand the driver base.
• Drive rider (demand) growth – enhance competitive positioning, set quality standards and identify expansion opportunities.
• Build, coach and retain a high‑performing local team, fostering a culture of performance, learning and integrity.
• Manage government relations, regulatory affairs, public relations, employer branding and social‑responsibility programmes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a fast‑growing, technology‑driven environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including with regulators and public authorities.
• Ability to make data‑driven decisions and drive operational excellence.
