About the role

AVEVA is seeking a CONNECT Cloud Platform Account Manager to drive revenue for its strategic CONNECT Platform. This hybrid role, based in Gallarate, Italy or Madrid, Spain, combines enterprise sales expertise with platform adoption responsibilities, helping customers realize value from cloud‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Own commercial outcomes for a portfolio of target accounts, including pipeline generation, opportunity progression, and ARR achievement.
  • Identify and qualify business‑case‑driven opportunities using a consultative, MEDDPICC‑informed sales process.
  • Engage senior technical and business stakeholders to build buying coalitions and drive collaboration.
  • Negotiate and close new SaaS/Cloud platform deals, focusing on land‑and‑expand strategies.
  • Support onboarding, deployment, and usage‑expansion plans to accelerate time‑to‑value.
  • Monitor adoption trends, identify gaps, and proactively mitigate risk.

Required profile

  • Proven enterprise sales experience in fast‑moving, technology‑focused environments.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that deliver measurable customer value.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills at senior and cross‑functional levels.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on long‑term customer success and platform growth.

Required skills

  • Experience selling SaaS or cloud‑based platforms.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Ability to negotiate commercial terms aligned with value delivery.
