About the role
AVEVA is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Simulation portfolio across Europe. The role focuses on driving new business and expanding the pipeline for process modelling and simulation solutions, working from Frankfurt, London, Cambridge or remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional sales and pre‑sales teams to acquire new customers and generate business for the Simulation portfolio.
- Lead the sales process from lead generation through opportunity development and closure.
- Partner with regional marketing to shape demand‑generation initiatives specific to process simulation.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities together with AVEVA sales resources.
- Act as the domain expert on customer needs, competition and industry trends, articulating the value proposition of AVEVA Simulation software.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of business development or account management experience in a technology environment.
- At least 5 years of technical sales or consulting experience.
- Strong background in process modelling, simulation and optimization.
- Degree in an engineering science discipline.
- Proven ability to manage C‑Level client relationships.
