Trade Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Trade Marketing Coordinator will lead Samsung’s field force management (FFM) activities in Ciudad del Este, ensuring that commercial, product, and marketing priorities are consistently executed across retail points of sale. This freelance position requires frequent on‑site visits, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to coach frontline sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily FFM operations, including scheduling, attendance tracking, POS coverage, productivity monitoring, coaching, and performance management.
• Translate Samsung’s commercial and marketing strategies into actionable execution at assigned retail locations.
• Monitor sell‑out, inventory, product mix, pricing, visibility, share‑of‑shelf, and competitor activity.
• Conduct structured POS visits and retail audits, close execution gaps, and promptly escalate operational risks.
• Coordinate product launches, promotions, incentives, and campaigns to ensure timely market rollout.
• Track individual and team KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective action plans.
• Prepare accurate reports on sales, attendance, inventory, pricing, competitor activity, SOS, retail assets, and campaign execution.
• Manage field‑force resources such as uniforms, samples, POP materials, and incentives.
• Process operational documentation and billing between the agency, Cheil, and Samsung.
• Identify local growth opportunities and recommend actions to increase sell‑out and strengthen Samsung’s retail presence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, i‑CODE standards, and mandatory training requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in field force management, retail operations, sales, or trade marketing.
• Experience in consumer electronics or the mobile industry is preferred.
• Proven experience supervising and coaching frontline sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of the Ciudad del Este retail landscape and cross‑border commercial environment.
• Availability for frequent POS visits and field‑based work.
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
