Salesforce Architect/Developer – Nonprofit Cloud & TaskRay

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect/Developer to lead the design and implementation of solutions on the Nonprofit Cloud platform. This part‑time contract role focuses on extending NPSP, productionizing TaskRay, and integrating AI assistants such as Agentforce and Einstein Bots to drive measurable impact for nonprofit organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce architectures, including data model, security, Flows, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
• Extend Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) while preserving upgradability and improving data quality.
• Implement TaskRay templates, dependencies, and cross‑object automation, integrating with Flows, Platform Events, and Apex as needed.
• Integrate Agentforce/Einein Bots with secure data flows, logging, and human‑in‑the‑loop patterns.
• Build practical workflow automations and priority integrations with Microsoft 365, WhatsApp Cloud API, and Mailchimp.
• Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, ensure high test coverage, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply least‑privilege security principles and maintain package strategy for sustainable releases.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform, with at least 2 years as an architect or lead developer on Nonprofit Cloud/NPSP.
• Proven track record delivering TaskRay implementations for onboarding or project tracking.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect and Salesforce Certified Administrator (additional certifications a plus).
• Strong discipline with governor limits and reusable design patterns (service/domain layers, subflows, flow actions, LWCs).
