Plant Controller – Paraguay

About the role

DAT‑Schaub, part of the Danish Crown Group, is expanding its finance team in South America. The Plant Controller will act as the finance partner for the Paraguay plant, delivering cost analysis, reporting, forecasting and operational insights to support transparent and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly closing, reporting and financial analysis activities.
• Monitor and analyse production costs, operational performance and inventory movements.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and standards.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and CAPEX monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with Operations to identify cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP and reporting systems and compliance with internal controls.
• Participate in plant performance reviews and operational meetings.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Business‑partnering mindset with a proactive, structured approach.
• Comfortable working with data and cross‑functional teams.
• Continuous‑improvement orientation and ability to influence across functions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP knowledge – SAP is a plus.
