About the role

Baco Paraguay is looking for a senior HR professional to lead its Human Resources function. The role combines full‑cycle personnel administration with training, development and team support, reporting directly to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the HR department and define its strategic direction.
• Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding and employee termination processes.
• Design and deliver training programs for staff development.
• Support managers in team supervision, performance monitoring and conflict resolution.
• Oversee performance evaluations, workplace climate surveys and dispute handling.
• Administer employment contracts, employee files, sanctions and compliance with IPS, MTESS and other Paraguayan labor obligations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to reinforce a culture of responsibility, commitment and compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR leadership, coordination or management positions.
• Demonstrated experience in training, staff development and people management.
• Strong knowledge of Paraguayan labor legislation, IPS and MTESS.
• Leadership, firmness, organizational ability, effective communication and conflict‑management skills.
