IT Operations Engineer

About the role

Join a fast‑growing global IT Operations team that sits at the heart of a company with 1,100+ endpoints across four continents. You will help keep the infrastructure fast, secure, and future‑ready while exploring automation, AI‑enabled workflows, and new hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Identify repetitive tasks and build automation or AI‑driven workflows to improve support efficiency.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain on‑prem servers, network devices, and endpoints to ensure stability and scalability.
• Maintain reliable LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and site‑to‑site connectivity for global offices.
• Use MDM solutions to deploy software, enforce configurations, and keep devices compliant.
• Prepare equipment, access, and training for new hires to enable day‑one productivity.
• Provide hands‑on IT support for the Asuncion office and remote assistance for teams worldwide.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and vendor partners to resolve technical issues across time zones.

Required profile

• Proven experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network/internet problems.
• Familiarity with network appliances such as FortiGate firewalls, Aruba access points, and switches (or Cisco/pfSense equivalents).
• Solid working knowledge of macOS or Linux security features.
• Ability to create and maintain automation scripts or workflows.
• Willingness to communicate in English and improve language skills.
• Resourceful personality able to work across cultures and time zones.
