General Manager – Marketing & Ecommerce Growth

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on General Manager to lead marketing, ecommerce and profitable growth for HoopStars and to build the parent company’s marketing team across its brands. The role is remote within LATAM, working on Toronto hours, with potential future relocation to the US or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Own HoopStars’ business plan, budget, revenue, profitability and cash forecasts; lead sales and operations to match demand.
• Drive digital growth by improving paid search, social advertising, creative assets, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing, offers, referrals and retention.
• Define, recruit and manage the parent marketing team, including specialists, contractors or agencies, and set priorities across brands.
• Establish commercial discipline by linking campaign performance to paying customers, repeat enrollment and contribution profit, and allocate marketing spend based on reliable reporting and testing.

Required profile

• Proven track record building ecommerce businesses or leading growth for consumer brands, with commercial responsibility beyond a marketing budget.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or other specialists.
• Ability to translate ecommerce methods into a service‑based business with real delivery capacity.
• Strong professional English and effective remote leadership.
