Freelance Mechanical BIM Specialist – Global Projects

About the role

Join a fast‑paced, fully remote team delivering high‑quality Mechanical BIM models for global engineering and construction projects. You will use Revit to create and coordinate detailed mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with client requirements and BIM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models (HVAC, ductwork, piping, sheet metal, equipment) in Revit up to LOD 350.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate models and resolve clashes.
• Perform BIM coordination, clash detection and assist in conceptual design phases.
• Support model validation and documentation for U.S.–based projects.
• Utilise Navisworks, Dynamo or Python scripts to enhance model efficiency where needed.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Revit experience in BIM projects.
• Proven experience modelling HVAC systems, ductwork, piping and sheet‑metal components.
• Ability to deliver models at LOD 350 and work independently in a remote environment.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency and immediate availability.
