Diseñador/a Industrial – SolidWorks / CAD

About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Designer proficient in SolidWorks and CAD to turn ideas into functional, manufacturable products for a regional electrical solutions company. The role requires a detail‑oriented, practical mindset capable of delivering designs that move from screen to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and complete products using SolidWorks.
• Create 3D models of components and sheet‑metal parts, including flat patterns and bend sequences.
• Generate and manage assemblies, construction drawings, bill of materials, and part lists.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation for production, purchasing, and quality control.
• Organise and curate the CAD file library.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Commercial teams to ensure feasible solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or related field (advanced students with proven experience are also considered).
• Demonstrated experience with SolidWorks, especially 3D modeling, sheet‑metal design, and assembly creation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including electrical schematics (desired).
