Assistant Manager – Application Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Application Development will support BASF's Cellasto NVH product line, building long‑term customer relationships and driving technical solutions for automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers regularly to provide technical support, gather project information and promote Cellasto NVH products.
• Analyze customer designs, run simulations and propose technical solutions or design changes.
• Manage projects from RFQ generation through SOP, including sample ordering, testing coordination and final validation.
• Handle customer complaints by diagnosing failure modes and delivering corrective actions.
• Proactively identify new application opportunities, conduct technical seminars and promote the full Cellasto material portfolio.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, quality, supply chain, operations) and group companies to ensure timely project delivery.
