Accounting Manager – 100% Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for US‑based entities on a fully remote basis. The ideal candidate has managed the complete accounting cycle, driven month‑end close, and mentored junior accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end accounting for one or multiple US entities/clients.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits.
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP implementations.
• Mentor accounting team members and review their work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6–8+ years of accounting and finance experience with significant US exposure.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and full month‑end/year‑end close.
• Proven team‑leadership or people‑management experience.
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Preferred professional qualifications: CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience with multi‑entity or multi‑client accounting, SaaS or high‑growth environments.
