Senior Automation Tester in JS

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with strong JavaScript expertise to join our Agile product team. You will work on customer‑facing web applications and APIs, building and maintaining automated test suites to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Enhance existing automation frameworks and utilities, using JavaScript/TypeScript and tools such as WebDriverIO or Selenium.
• Create test coverage for new features and regression scenarios, and execute functional and regression testing during releases.
• Investigate test failures, collaborate with developers to identify root causes, and manage defects.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines, test management tools (e.g., qTest, TestRail) and cloud execution platforms like LambdaTest.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to test planning, and share automation best practices with the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in test automation for web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid understanding of test automation design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js and modern automation frameworks (WebDriverIO, Selenium).
• Experience testing and automating APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and communicate effectively in English (B2 or higher).
