Developer Support Engineer – Remote LATAM (Contract)

About the role

The Developer Support Engineer role is a full‑time, remote position focused on helping developers integrate and use Kyra SMS products and APIs across Latin America. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for developer partners, ensuring smooth implementation and ongoing success.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose integration and configuration issues, reviewing logs and API requests.
• Reproduce reported problems and collaborate with engineering to resolve bugs.
• Guide users through implementation steps, best practices, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to documentation, FAQs, and technical resources.
• Provide feedback to improve developer tools, SDKs, and workflows.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of web technologies and APIs (REST, JSON, HTTP).
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Experience in developer or technical support, issue triage, and customer‑facing engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
