Technical QA Associate

About the role

The Technical QA Associate acts as the gatekeeper of deployment stability for UJV’s luxury travel platform. You will validate software quality, manage test‑environment readiness, and streamline data setup to reduce release failures and support senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute functional test plans to ensure new features meet TPM requirements.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge‑case bugs that automated tools may miss.
• Document defects in Jira with detailed technical information and verify fixes with developers.
• Configure user data and system states in admin portals to prepare test environments.
• Collaborate with engineers to define automated data‑seeder requirements and create one‑click scripts.
• Conduct daily health checks on testing environments to guarantee consistency.
• Provide rapid feedback to TPMs for go/no‑go release decisions.
• Maintain test documentation and follow established defect‑reporting workflows.
• Identify manual test scenarios suitable for future automation.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in a technical, testing, support, or product‑adjacent role.
• Strong organizational abilities and comfort working with complex software systems.
• Interest in learning API testing and data‑management tools.
