Senior Security Automation Engineer (Remote)

About the role

As a Senior Security Automation Engineer you will embed security controls and threat modeling into BairesDev's engineering ecosystem, automating security workflows to protect the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated security testing and monitoring workflows for threat detection and response.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture assessments to identify and mitigate infrastructure risks.
• Oversee vulnerability management processes and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a secure SDLC.
• Implement and optimize platform security measures, including identity management and encryption standards.
• Develop automated systems to detect, triage, and respond to security incidents and compliance anomalies in real time.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, security automation, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting and building security automation workflows.
• Proven expertise in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC.
• Solid understanding of cloud and container security, IAM, and encryption.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
