Senior Platform Data & Python Engineer - Remote Work

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Platform Data & Python Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of robust data pipelines within a Snowflake environment. The role acts as a technical coordinator, aligning engineering efforts with strategic business requirements while ensuring high‑performance data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and continuous ingestion workflows.
• Develop, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support downstream analytics.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, promoting engineering best practices.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery using agile project management methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align technical specifications with business objectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Development, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Snowflake, including continuous ingestion with Snowpipe.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL and developing stored procedures.
• Demonstrated ability in project delivery management using Jira, mentoring, and stakeholder alignment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
