Senior LIMS Engineer – Remote

About the role

As a Senior LIMS Engineer you will design, develop, and customize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solutions built on Business Process Modeling (BPM) workflows. You will work with platforms such as Labbit to streamline laboratory operations, ensure data integrity, and support critical research and diagnostic activities in the life‑sciences sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize LIMS platforms, preferably Labbit or similar.
• Design and implement BPM workflows for laboratory processes.
• Query and manage data using SPARQL and RDF.
• Automate tasks and extend system functionality with Python.
• Integrate LIMS with other laboratory and business systems via REST APIs.
• Optimize workflows, monitor performance, and ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with LIMS solutions, preferably Labbit.
• Hands‑on experience with Business Process Modeling.
• Knowledge of SPARQL and RDF.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Advanced English communication skills.
