Project Director – Child Labor & Digital Safety (Paraguay)

About the role

PADF is seeking a full‑time Project Director to lead a U.S. Department of Labor‑funded initiative in Paraguay. The role focuses on protecting children, strengthening labor standards, and mitigating online exploitation risks through education technology and digital safety measures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of technical specialists and local partners to design and implement child‑protection strategies.
• Develop and coordinate youth employment pathways and online safety protocols.
• Strengthen the capacity of local and national government agencies to enforce labor standards.
• Engage the private sector to promote solutions that reduce exploitative child labor and digital risks.
• Oversee project monitoring, reporting, and compliance with USDOL requirements.
• Ensure project activities are aligned with funding conditions and are delivered on schedule.

Required profile

• Background in labor law, labor rights, child labor, human rights, or related fields.
• Experience with educational technology (EdTech), digital skills development, and digital safety initiatives.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Ability to work onsite in Paraguay and manage a diverse team of stakeholders.
• Position contingent on project funding.
