Playwright Automation Engineer (TypeScript) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Playwright Automation Engineer with strong TypeScript expertise to build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web applications. In this remote position you will bridge development and quality assurance, enabling engineering teams to deliver reliable releases quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated end‑to‑end tests for web applications.
• Create and maintain cross‑browser automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Maintain and optimise test suites for reliability, performance and rapid feedback.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing.
• Proven expertise in web test automation with Playwright.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience building robust automation frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
