About the role
We are looking for a Payroll Bookkeeper to join our Center of Excellence in Asunción. The role will handle payroll operations for multiple countries in the Americas, ensuring accurate processing and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate payroll, manage approvals, process bank transfers and social charge payments.
- Perform payroll accounting, including accruals, provisions and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Control and pay outsourced employees and manage employee benefits such as medical insurance.
- Monitor vacation and absence records and generate payroll reports.
- Manage payroll service providers, create purchase orders and ensure compliance activities.
- Control, process and monitor travel expenses and support internal and external audits.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting or a student close to graduation.
- 1–2 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is highly required.
