Junior Business Intelligence Assistant – ETL & Data Quality

About the role

The Junior Business Intelligence Assistant will support Nestlé Business Services LATAM by creating automated dashboards and reports in Excel, ensuring data extraction, quality, and standardisation. The role involves hands‑on data processing, automation using VBA and Power Query, and providing analytical support to the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain Excel dashboards and automated reports using advanced formulas, VBA macros, and Power Query.
• Extract, consolidate, and standardise data from multiple sources (SharePoint, MS Access, SQL Server, APIs, CSV files) while guaranteeing data accuracy.
• Support ongoing projects with technical and analytical assistance, including documentation of data logic and assumptions.
• Collaborate with key users and project leaders to gather requirements and propose data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Graduate or university student in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics, Applied Mathematics or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for requirement gathering and documentation.
• Result‑oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, data modelling).
• VBA programming for macro‑based automation.
• Power Query for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, MS Access and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Power Automate (MS Flow) – desirable.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools – desirable.
