Contador/a junior – automation and AI focus

About the role

We are looking for a motivated junior accountant to join our fast‑growing team in Paraguay. You will help streamline our financial processes, leverage AI tools such as Claude, and support the day‑to‑day accounting needs of our expanding retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Record income and expense vouchers in the accounting system.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and document control.
• Prepare accounting reports, balance sheets, and periodic financial statements.
• Identify and propose automation ideas to reduce repetitive manual tasks.

Required profile

• Graduated in Accounting (not mandatory).
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Willingness to learn and use AI tools (Claude) for process automation.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software.
• Knowledge of tax filing, VAT and IRE liquidation.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Immediate availability.
