Contador Público – Gestión Contable y Tributaria

About the role

We are looking for a Public Accountant to join a corporate group and take responsibility for the accounting and tax management of two business units. The role requires strong technical training, analytical ability, and experience handling corporate accounting and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise accounting processes for two business units.
• Record, analyze, and reconcile accounting operations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and reports to support decision‑making.
• Handle tax obligations, including IVA, IRE, IRP and other required filings.
• Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Participate in monthly and annual closing cycles.
• Keep accounting records up‑to‑date and provide support for audits and regulatory requests.
• Apply accounting and tax criteria in line with current regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting.
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting positions.
• Proven experience with corporate and tax accounting.
• Knowledge of Paraguayan tax regulations (IVA, IRE, IRP).
• Ability to work autonomously, organized, detail‑oriented and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Starsoft accounting software.
• Proficiency with Marangatu accounting software.
• Experience with DNIT systems and related accounting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.

What we offer

• Work schedule: Monday‑Friday 8:00‑17:30, Saturday 8:00‑12:00.
• Office location in Asunción.
