Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

UJV is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will turn complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights. This role works as a strategic partner with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to drive faster, smarter decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve core Tableau dashboards covering sales, gross profit, agent performance, regional performance, marketing, and luxury travel.
• Partner with department heads to review performance, spot trends, and translate data into business conversations.
• Identify gross‑profit leakage, negative‑margin bookings, under‑performing agents, operational inefficiencies, and emerging commercial trends, and provide improvement recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain a weekly commercial reporting package for leadership.
• Maintain the integrity of the commercial data model, Tableau environment, and data dictionary in close collaboration with the Technology team.
• Design ad‑hoc analyses that answer strategic business questions, not just produce reports.
• Enable department leaders to self‑serve key dashboards and metrics.
• Research, design, and implement AI‑powered analytical solutions using Large Language Models (Claude preferred) to automate repetitive reporting.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting processes, dashboard usability, and data quality.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience partnering with commercial teams to influence decision‑making.

Required skills

• Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.
• Data modeling and maintaining data dictionaries.
• Working knowledge of Large Language Models (Claude preferred) for AI‑driven analytics.
