About the role
The Logistics Assistant will support daily product deliveries, ensuring the lowest distribution cost while respecting legal and operational constraints. The role involves coordinating routes, managing driver information, and handling export activities within a multinational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily deliveries, plan routes, and provide drivers with loading and unloading points.
- Analyze demand, create orders, and plan bulk product shipments while maintaining service levels.
- Optimize delivery assignments, manage truck utilization, and schedule vehicle maintenance.
- Validate drivers' trip documentation, ensure data accuracy, and monitor database quality.
- Handle emergency calls, respond to customer and driver requests, and manage alerts from the Teleflo system.
Required profile
- High school diploma or two‑year technical degree.
- 1–3+ years of experience in accounting, business analysis, or operations control, preferably with multinational firms.
- Understanding of closing processes and experience with ERP systems.
