Médico/a para Residencia de Personas Mayores

About the role

The position is for a qualified medical doctor to join the care team of a senior residence. The professional will provide daily medical consultations, manage acute processes, and ensure comprehensive health monitoring of residents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily medical consultations for acute conditions and routine follow‑up of residents.
• Perform pre‑admission medical assessments and interviews.
• Evaluate and coordinate the admission of new residents.
• Maintain and update clinical records.
• Prescribe treatments and monitor their effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff and other health professionals.
• Provide information and support to families when required.
• Participate in preventive health programs and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Medicine (Licenciatura or Grado).
• Spanish‑recognized medical qualification (mandatory).
• Current professional registration.
• Experience in geriatrics, primary care, internal medicine, or socio‑healthcare is valued.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on comprehensive elderly care.
