Asistente Senior de Contabilidad

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Assistant to join a leading company in Paraguay. The position is onsite in Mariano Roque Alonso and is ideal for a qualified accountant or an advanced accounting student looking to contribute to structured corporate finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting entries and perform account analysis.
• Execute bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Participate in monthly and annual financial closing cycles.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports.
• Manage tax obligations including IVA, IRE, withholdings, RG90 and current regulations.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure process compliance and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Public Accountant or advanced accounting student.
• 2‑4 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Proven experience in reconciliations, account analysis, and financial closings.
• Knowledge of Paraguayan tax regulations.
• Proficiency with SAP (mandatory).
• Intermediate or higher Excel skills.
• Experience preparing financial reports.
